Once the hotel is complete, casino officials say more than 1,000 jobs will be created in the southern part of Queens. Construction is not expected to affect the operations of the casino. Officials said they will make an announcement about which restaurants and other facilities will be opened in the just-completed ground floors of the new hotel.
